Mission Statement

CMP & Cleans Consultants (C³) was formed to bring the extensive background and knowledge of Mr. Laurence Schultz and his Associates to the CMP and polishing industry.  By assisting companies with their CMP and cleaning problems, C³ will improve the capability of the industry in this important technology.

Background

Mr. Schultz is one of the pioneers in CMP research and development.  He has served distinguished tours of duty at the 3 most prestigious research organizations in the microelectronics industry: Sematech, MCC and Bell Labs.  He has also worked with industry leaders in equipment and consumable development, specification, and procurement.  His early process development set standards for equipment and consumables and accentuated the need for critical post-polish cleaning applications.  Mr. Schultz and his Associates can help you with all of your CMP and cleaning needs, including: procurement of equipment and consumables, process development, and all facets of the manufacturing process.
